All PCMS spring sports games scheduled during March 16-27 have been suspended until further notice. The PCHS athletic department and region 2AAA will follow the GHSA suggestion and postpone all extracurricular activities sanctioned by the GHSA scheduled during March 13-27. Read More Congratulations! Two of our seniors, Hayley Peeples and Shaylynn Griffin have been selected for the prestigious Sullivan Scholarsh ip! This scholarship provides a "full-ride" for these students as they pursue their dream of becoming a teacher. The Sullivan Scholarship also provides incentives for these students to teach in rural Georgia after graduation by providing a stipend during their first years of teaching. They will get tuition, fees, books, residence hall and meal ticket for the 4 years they area at VSU pursuing their teaching degree. The Dean of the College of Education and Human Services at VSU awarded these students with a VSU/Sullivan Scholar stole on March 7 to recognize them as Sullivan Scholars. Both PCHS students have already completed several hours of college credit through dual enrollment at PCHS and both have participated in the Teacher Education dual enrollment courses taught at PCHS.
